The French Riviera is serviced by 3 airports between St Tropez and Monaco. A little further along the coast there are also Toulon-Hyères Airport and Marseille Provence Airport with a range of European and international liasons.

Nice Côte d’Azur

Nice Cote d’Azur Airport is the largest airport on the French Riviera and the third busiest airport in France. It is connected to the principal European cities and well served by budget and scheduled airlines. The approach to Nice Airport was voted in the top 3 most stunning landings in the world in a 2016 poll.

The airport has 2 passenger terminals with lounge/dining and shopping facilities. The airport was first used for postal flights by hydro-plane to Corsica in 1918. After being used as a military airbase during the war a hard surfaced runway was built in 1944. The current runway is built on reclaimed land from the sea.

Connection to Cannes take around 30 minutes by taxi or private car. There is a regular express bus service to Cannes. The 210 express service takes 50 minutes to the Cannes bus station which is situated in front of the train station. Be aware that the service runs from 08:00 to 20:00, the night service is the N200 departing from terminal 1. More information about the bus connections can be found here.
